Who We Are

Ms. Albertina Kashuupulwa-Malwa is a Certified Public Relations Practitioner (CPRP) accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA), Communications Consultant, and the Founder and Managing Director of Tulip Media Consultancy, a Namibian-based public relations and strategic communications agency.

She holds a Master’s degree in Media Studies, a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies (Honours) with a specialization in Public Relations and Industrial Psychology, and a Diploma in Public Relations from the University of Namibia. She further holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing from Regent Business School.

With over ten years of experience in the media, communications, and public relations industry, Ms. Albertina has developed extensive expertise in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, media relations, reputation management, corporate communication, digital marketing, and integrated marketing communications. Her professional journey spans the health, education, and corporate sectors, where she has successfully developed and implemented communication strategies, public engagement initiatives, and reputation-building programmes.

Prior to becoming a full-time business owner, Ms. Albertina served at the Ministry of Health and Social Services, where she progressed from Community Liaison Officer to Senior Community Liaison Officer. During her tenure, she managed stakeholder engagement initiatives, community relations, public information campaigns, and strategic communication interventions aimed at strengthening public understanding and engagement.

Her commitment to professional development and knowledge sharing has also seen her serve as a Part-time Lecturer and Online Facilitator at the University of Namibia, where she contributed to the training, mentorship, and development of future media and public relations professionals.

As the Founder and Managing Director of Tulip Media Consultancy, Ms. Albertina leads the strategic direction and operations of Tulip Media, providing public relations, communication advisory, digital marketing, brand management, media relations, training, and event management services. Under her leadership, Tulip Media Consultancy has successfully executed various high-impact projects, including national conferences, corporate communication campaigns, stakeholder engagement initiatives, and professional development programmes.

She currently manages public relations and media relations activities for international corporates operating in Namibia, including organizations within the ride-hailing sector, where she provides strategic communication support, media engagement, reputation management, stakeholder relations, and corporate positioning services.

Beyond her professional practice, Ms. Albertina served as a Mentor with the Tony Elumelu Foundation, supporting and empowering African entrepreneurs through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and guidance in business development, strategic communication, leadership, and organisational growth.

Through her work as a PR practitioner, entrepreneur, mentor, and communication strategist, Ms. Albertina continues to advocate for the advancement of strategic public relations as a critical business and leadership function.
